The evening is designed to be a low pressure event where you will gain experience speaking informally with professionals, build rapport, and eventually gain a valuable contact for your future career goals.

Scholarship Opportunity
The Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants is accepting applications for its annual scholarship(s). The 2011-2012 scholarship(s) will be awarded at our monthly membership meeting in January 2012. Further information about the dinner will be provided to the award recipient(s) and their schools once they are chosen.
Interested students must complete the enclosed application and return it, postmarked no later than October 31st to the address on the application. Letters of recommendation and transcripts must be received no later than November 4th. Applications must be completed in full to be considered.
Qualified students must be planning a career in accounting and show financial need. The review committee will also consider academic record, extracurricular activities, citizenship, and quality of recommendations. The scholarship(s) will be between $500 and $1,500 and will be paid directly to the student(s).

Here are the Fall 2011 Steps for a Successful Graduation.
As a Business student, you must:
Submit a plan of study for your major and academic year, signed by your major faculty advisor during the first four weeks of the semester.
Plans of Study are available in the School of Business, Room 121 or online at Plans of Study.

"Apply to graduate" on Peoplesoft.

The School of Business is now accepting applications for the Business Administration and Business & Technology majors offered at the Greater Hartford, Stamford and Waterbury regional campuses. Applications are available at any School of Business program office location and there are NO deadlines to apply!

Get More Advertisement for Your Meetings and Events
Post on the School of Business Online Calendar.
Student clubs, organizations, departments and programs are invited to post their meetings and sponsored events on School of Business online calendars.
When you submit an event and choose a School of Business calendar (e.g. School of Business or School of Business Undergraduate Program, departmental calendars), your event will be posted to the University's calendar system and be displayed on the School's web pages. In addition, events submitted this may also be displayed on the monitors in the South Atrium, IT Helpdesk and the Business Connections Learning Community.

To post an ad or article, please send an email to undergrad@business.uconn.edu by Wednesday before 2:00PM.
Postings must be School-related and may be edited by the staff. The Biz is emailed every Thursday to all undergraduate business students, faculty, and staff.
If you have designed a flyer or have a website, please include that information with the email.
