Attention School of Business Undergrads!
The Business Leadership Council is changing its structure and is looking for dedicated and dependable student leaders to represent our students for the 2009-2010 academic year!
The Business Leadership Council functions as a valuable liaison between the student body and the school’s administration. The Council is interested in developing events that strengthen students’ experiences at the School of Business such as the Networking Forum, Business Student Organization End-of-the-Semester celebrations and the Senior Class Gift. We will be making plans for 2009-10 involvement. The structure of the Business Leadership Council will change for next year and the Council anticipates regular monthly meetings during the academic year. While the majority of the voting seats will consist of two elected members of each business student organization, we are expanding involvement to students not involved in Business societies by including two voting seats from the general School of Business student body.
If you are interested in running for a General Member Voting Seat for the 2009-2010 academic year, please send the following to uconnblc@gmail.com by 5:00 pm Friday, March 27th:
your resume
a 250-word statement about your qualifications
an appropriate business casual photo
You must be currently enrolled as a School of Business student to apply. The statements and photos submitted will be posted on our Business Leadership Council voting website.
Voting is slated to take place in the fall.
If you have any questions regarding the Business Leadership Council or applying to be a General Voting Member, please contact us at uconnblc@gmail.com .
Best of luck to all applicants!

We are particularly interested in Juniors since it is expected that the new managers will manage the Fund for a year.
