Center bids Farewell to CF

The Center for Real Estate publicly thanks Professor C.F. Sirmans for his service and dedication to the Center, School, and University. CF’s seventeen years as Director was marked by significant contributions in a number of areas, including outstanding support for undergraduate and graduate students, development of programs and resources for state government and real estate professionals, and meaningful research recognized at locally, nationally and internationally.

On a more personal note, the faculty and staff at the Center thank CF for being our friend and mentor. He was an invaluable source of encouragement, counsel, and advice. He believed in all of us, and his door was always open. He enabled us to see the big picture, and to be better teachers, better researchers, and better critical thinkers. While we wish him well on his next academic adventure, we will miss him greatly.
