Korpacz Market Trends Presentation
On Monday, January 28, 2008, over 100 people attended the Korpacz Real Estate Market Trends Presentation and Luncheon held at the Downtown Graduate Learning Center in Hartford. The luncheon sponsored by the Real Estate Center Council, started at 12:15 p.m. followed by the presentation by Peter Korpacz from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Peter is the Executive Managing Director of Weiser Realty Advisors LLC and one of the leading real estate market analysts in the country. Peter is also the founder, original publisher, and editor-in-chief of the Korpacz Real Estate Investor Survey®.
Peter discussed with professionals and students current market conditions and advised, given the condition of the market, what to expect and what not to expect going into the New Year. Peter presented historical information regarding consumer spending and stock market trends in relation to the state of the economy as well as an in-depth evaluation of historical values and cap rates for office, retail, industrial and multi-family property types. Based on these historical trends, Peter provided valuable insight into what to expect the upcoming year regarding property values and the state of the overall economy.
